History of Twin Ministries
Founding & Early Years
Twin Ministries was founded by Dr. Sharon Apopa and the late Caron Assan. Their shared calling led them to develop the Theo-Bio-Psychosocial Model of Care, integrating theology, psychology, and social well-being.

Since its inception in 1997, Twin Ministries has grown into a recognized force in inner healing and counseling, partnering with churches, government agencies, and professional organizations. The ministry quickly gained recognition for its innovative approach to faith-based therapy, addressing deep-rooted traumas, addiction, and generational healing through scripture-backed counseling and educational programs.
